Grizzlies
can be seen throughout Yellowstone. It’s safe to say at
one time or another, they’ve been in close proximity to all
the buildings in the park.
During
my first 11 years as Artist in Residence in Yellowstone, I
personally encountered more grizzlies around Lake Yellowstone
Hotel than any other hotel—especially in spring.
I’ve
painted the idea several different ways over the years but Playday at Lake
is the first time I’ve printed the concept.
