I’ve painted the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone a handful of times.  Searching for the right concept, a way to approach it differently than other artists, I was  happy with the past paintings but continually felt something was missing.

I believe I’ve finally landed on it in my painting Life at Canyon.  Showing the north wall (and parts of the south wall) from Lower Falls all the way to Inspiration Point pleases me; pleases me enough that I made prints of it.
